Although external rewards & recognition does not motivate me, it is lovely and truly humbling to be recognised amongst some incredible people and organisations doing amazing things for homelessness.
Once again thank you for all the help and support you’ve show us and our project throughout the last few months. We’ve come an incredibly long way in such a short journey. Still plenty of hard work ahead… but we’ll get there!

Hatch is a website created to help people take practical action on causes which matter to them. Whether you are overwhelmed by climate change or don’t know where to start when it comes to helping a rough sleeper, we exist to make things easy for you to make a difference.
We have been scouring the UK for people who are doing innovative things to change the face of rough sleeping. We purposely focused on initiatives which have the potential to be replicated and scaled and that empower the public to address this national crisis. By showcasing these unsung heroes, we hope to inspire and help other people who are looking to tackle homelessness. Together we can do more.
Having received an overwhelming number of heartfelt nominations, our judging panel are excited to announce that they’ve completed the hard task of choosing ten fantastic ‘unsung heroes of homelessness’. If this is a subject close to your heart, or one that you know your local community will have an interest in, these people show that just following through on an idea is enough to change people’s lives.
